How is it August already?! This year has flown by and 2 of my big projects are happening in the next few weeks!
Rosemary Butcher and company are out in Berlin now as part of the Tanz im August Festival - the exhibition looks amazing and the performances will be a delight for audiences. If you are heading out there, do have a look. Holly Blakey is heading into the studio at the end of this week to start working with the team on Some Greater Class. There are 6 dancers, 3 musicians, one filmmaker and lots of love going into the project! Tickets are sold out but we have an exhibition and waiting list tickets available. Sign up now. Then looking to the near future: Leila McMillan is curating a night as part of Sadler's Wells Wild Card season which will showcase an excerpt of Family Portrait. If you didn't see it at Greenwich Dance, here is a snippet but grab your ticket now.
I'm also working with director Struan Leslie on developing a strategy for his new company and business plan, JW3 as producer for their new dance commission (more info coming soon) and a few other projects that are yet to be announced. It's a busy time ahead but what fantastic projects!
